Marketing Specialist 🇦🇺
Established over 20 years ago, with over 120 headcount, we are a growing Melbourne headquartered Software Engineering Consultancy with a core focus of delivering business-critical digital products to our clients. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role responsible for shaping and executing Fabric Group’s marketing, demand generation, employer branding, and market positioning strategy. Reporting directly to the executive leadership team, you will own the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of all marketing activities across the business. You will work closely with our service line leaders, pursuit teams, delivery leaders, technology specialists, partners, and people teams to ensure Fabric Group is recognised as a leading technology consultancy across Australia and APAC. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and is excited by the opportunity to build, scale, and continuously evolve a modern B2B technology marketing function.
💻What you will do:
Brand Strategy & Market Positioning
Own and evolve Fabric Group’s brand strategy and market positioning.
Develop compelling messaging across our service offerings, industries, partnerships, and capabilities.
Ensure consistency across all external and internal communication channels.
Identify opportunities to strengthen Fabric Group’s reputation and visibility across the market.
Demand Generation & Growth Marketing
Develop and execute integrated demand generation campaigns aligned to business growth objectives.
Partner with leadership teams to support go-to-market strategies for new services, offerings, and industry solutions.
Create campaigns that generate awareness, engagement, leads, and client opportunities.
Monitor and report on campaign performance, pipeline contribution, and ROI.
Events & Community Building
Own the end-to-end planning and execution of:
-Industry conferences
-Executive roundtables
-Client dinners
-Meetups
-Webinars
-Workshops
-Partner events
-Internal events
Manage event logistics, content, promotion, sponsorships, stakeholder engagement, and post-event reporting.
Create meaningful opportunities for client engagement and community building.
Content & Thought Leadership
Lead the creation and distribution of high-quality content including:
-Case studies
-Client success stories
-Blogs and insights
-Whitepapers and eBooks
-Podcasts
-Webinars
-Video content
-Executive thought leadership
Collaborate with consultants, architects, engineers, and delivery leaders to transform technical expertise into market-facing content.
Build and maintain a content calendar aligned with strategic priorities.
Digital Marketing & Social Media
Own Fabric Group’s digital presence across:
-Website
-Email marketing channels
Manage social media strategy, content planning, engagement, and performance reporting.
Continuously optimise website content, user experience, and conversion pathways.
Maintain all marketing assets and digital collateral.
Partnerships & Ecosystem Marketing
Build and manage strategic marketing relationships with key partners including:
-Google Cloud
-Microsoft
-AWS
-Cursor
-Technology vendors
-Industry associations
Develop co-marketing opportunities that drive visibility and growth.
Coordinate partner campaigns, events, announcements, and joint initiatives.
Employer Branding & Talent Marketing
Partner with People & Culture teams to strengthen Fabric Group’s employer brand.
Develop campaigns that showcase our culture, people, projects, and career opportunities.
Support recruitment efforts through compelling marketing and storytelling.
Manage and improve external employer review platforms and brand perception.
Client Advocacy & Industry Recognition
Develop and maintain a structured client testimonial and case study program.
Drive initiatives that increase customer advocacy and market credibility.
Manage submissions for relevant industry awards and recognitions.
Coordinate campaigns around significant company milestones, including:
-Great Place to Work certifications
-ISO certifications
-Industry awards
-Major client wins
-Strategic partnerships
Internal Communications & Employee Experience
Create and manage internal communications that keep teams informed and connected.
Produce internal newsletters and company updates.
Support leadership and operational teams with presentations, collateral, communication plans, and employee engagement initiatives.
🔎What we are looking for:
Experience
5 to 8 years of experience across B2B marketing, technology marketing, consulting, professional services, or related industries.
Demonstrated success building and executing demand generation and brand strategies.
Experience managing events, campaigns, partnerships, and content programs.
Strong understanding of technology, cloud, AI, software delivery, or digital transformation markets.
Experience working with senior executives and technical subject matter experts.
