Lead Consultant - Delivery (with product management & consulting experience)

Our Delivery Leads are trusted advisors to our clients, partnering with stakeholders to ensure exceptional delivery outcomes. As a Lead Consultant at Fabric, you will guide project teams to success through strategic planning, clear communication, and collaborative problem-solving. By fostering alignment between business objectives and delivery goals, you will empower teams to deliver high-quality solutions while driving customer and stakeholder satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery and Oversight
Lead and drive the overall delivery of projects, consistently delivering value to clients.
Develop and oversee delivery plans, including scope, estimates, releases, and statements of work for engagements.
Collaborate closely with clients to understand their strategy, product vision, and success criteria, translating these into actionable roadmaps.
Provide hands-on leadership to delivery teams, ensuring successful outcomes through facilitation and expert guidance.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients in product ownership and agile delivery management, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
Support the delivery planning phases of discovery workshops, contributing actionable insights and technical feasibility assessments.
Strategic Contribution
Lead and facilitate discovery workshops to align client stakeholders and delivery teams, defining the delivery roadmap for the product.
Contribute to the development and evolution of delivery frameworks and practices, enhancing Fabric's project execution methodologies.
Client Engagement and Growth
Provide deep expertise and trusted advice to clients in product ownership and agile delivery management.
Build strong relationships with client stakeholders, bridging technical and business domains.
Support the identification of new opportunities within existing client accounts, contributing to their long-term success.
Team Leadership and Mentoring
Mentor and coach colleagues, focusing on Agile delivery practices and career development.
Play an active role in recruitment and interviews to identify and onboard top talent.
Ensure the alignment and performance of delivery teams, escalating account-level challenges to Principals as needed.
Being an ambassador for Fabric, promoting our values and the practices we use to make sure we build the software right
Thought Leadership
Generate thought leadership content to support marketing initiatives, such as social media activities, meetups, and conferences.
Actively participate in knowledge-sharing forums within the company to inspire innovation and improve practices.
What we're looking for:
trong experience in software or digital consulting, with a track record of leading complex client engagements.
Proven experience in delivery leadership, with the ability to balance customer outcomes, team effectiveness and commercial considerations.
Strong product management or product thinking experience, including discovery, prioritisation, roadmap planning and defining outcomes.
Experience delivering AI-native projects or AI-enabled products, with an understanding of how AI can be embedded into products, workflows and ways of working to create meaningful business outcomes.
Excellent facilitation skills, with experience bringing diverse stakeholders together, guiding challenging conversations and helping groups reach clarity and decisions.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Comfortable working in ambiguous and complex environments, where the path forward is not always clearly defined.
A pragmatic, outcome-focused approach, with the ability to balance customer needs, technical considerations and delivery constraints.
Experience working with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, product, design and business.
A collaborative leadership style, with the ability to lead through influence rather than authority.
Curiosity and enthusiasm for emerging AI technologies, with the ability to understand their practical applications and help clients adopt AI-native ways of working.
